BEHIND THE SCENES WITH TIARARAMA
Today we are going behind the scenes with Tiararama as they create the look book for their new Editions Collection. Having worked on a fair few shoots myself, you’d be surprised at how much work goes into creating even one stunning image like this.
Suzanne Laughlin – Creative Director of Tiararama, explains that she was inspired by Parisian Fashion when creating the collection and it was one particular trip that made her explore the concept in more detail. 1940’s/1950’s Parisian Glamour became the focal point for the six tiara designs but with a Tiararama trademark contemporary twist.
As much as Suzanne loved Paris it was important that the shoot take place in London, as all Tiararama pieces are designed and made in the UK. Gem Rey was the genius behind the lens and Melanie Leonard recreated vintage Parisian hair and make up looks on the models. You can see them in action in these exclusive behind the scenes snaps.
For the studio shots Suzanne and the team aimed for grand house chic and clean modern white to reflect the contemporary twists that these designs represent.
As you might expect from the glamourous collection the pieces have been crafted from the most luxurious materials, such as freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals and opaque glass beads. And this pearl tiara happens to be my favourite.
The six piece Editions Collection will be launching soon, for more information head to the Tiararama website: www.tiararama.co.uk
