SUNDAY LOVES – A VINTAGE WEDDING AFFAIR

Oh Bijou readers I must admit my stomach is flipping with a mix of nerves and excitement about next week’s A Vintage Wedding Affair.  It’s the biggest thing I’ve ever organised and now all the exhibitors are in place and the decorations are ready to hang it’s suddenly become real.  Venturing into the wedding industry I must admit I have been shocked by the lacklustre fairs I’ve frequented with bog standard and dull rows of trestle tables and appalling ‘fashion shows’ so along with my friend Beth of Be Vintage we decided to set up our own!  With A Vintage Wedding Affair it was my goal to create a boutique affair to showcase a handpicked selection of fabulous vintage wedding exhibitors, as well as new talent, in a unique way.  So next Saturday 2nd July in Hertfordshire’s biggest and best Vintage Shopping venue the Fleetville Vintage Emporium (221 Hatfield Road, St Albans, AL1 4TB) we’ll be hosting Hertfordshire’s first Vintage Wedding Fair.  I will also be hosting a fashion show (1.30pm & again at 3pm) mixing original vintage clothing with contemporary pieces for both bridal and groom style inspiration.
