SNAP’S BACK – SNAP PHOTOGRAPHY FESTIVAL 2016

I’ve been so lucky to meet the most talented bunch of people through The Bijou Bride, forging real friendships over a mutual love of glitter and creativity.  One of those people is Laura of Babb Photo who earlier this year asked me to help her with a crazy plan to set up the U.K’s first photography festival.  So in April we set up camp in the beautiful surroundings of Fforest Farm in Wales with a World class line up of industry professionals and threw open the doors for the first SNAP Photography Festival.  The response was overwhelmingly positive and has led to the establishment of an awesome community of likeminded photographers from those nights around the camp fire.  But not one to sit back and bask in the glory Laura was already planning the next retreat over service station coffees on our journey home.  So I’m thrilled to announce that SNAP Photography Festival will be back and badder than ever next year and I’m chuffed to be helping Laura with the logistics and styling once again.

A funky fresh line up of new speakers including Oli Sansom, Petar Jurica, Gabe McClintock and Whitesmoke Studio have been confirmed to lead unique interactive workshops and stretch the imagination. Covering everything from photography techniques to branding, fashion editorial to business development.  Plus we’ve added heaps more alternative activities and entertainment set amongst the beautiful countryside to encourage SNAPsters to take time out to recharge their batteries.  Foraging, acoustic performances around the camp fire, yoga sessions, wild swimming and of course the epic SNAP party that will see industry pals The Wedding Smashers take to the decks.
