BRIDAL CRUSH – PARIS FASHION WEEK SPRING 2015 COUTURE
It’s that time of year when we’re in awe of and get all cooey over the couture wonders of the World’s top fashion designers. Paris Fashion Week Spring 2015 hit the mark with the expected high octane evening gowns and all the prettiness Spring brings. As always I’m seeking out the fantasy wedding dresses and bridal influences we can expect to see popping up late 2015/ 2016.
Something blue at Zuhair Murad. There were typically plenty of sorbet shades and floral details on show but the palest blues and soft duck egg accents were the most bridal worthy. It seems Frozen is sticking around to infiltrate our wardrobes with Elsa’s signature ice blue shades.

Ralph & Russo gave us a new focus body area, the neck and decolletage. Their couture designs were the mille-feuille of Paris Fashion Week with an abundance of feature layers and whipped up chiffon.
Elie Saab the eternal bridal favourite never disappoints. Spring 2015 creations were presented on a fairytale tree-lined runway, predictably filled with astounding beadwork and embellishment. Yet it was the feather trimmed bodices, cuffs and hems that caught my eye and will likely be a trend in bridal attire in seasons to come.

This next spot from Paris Fashion Week Spring 2015 is my season fave. Valentino’s sublime evening gowns were covered with sequin embellished slogans and romantic phrases. The cutest bridal fashion steal, you have to agree.

It wouldn’t be a Paris fashion report without a look at the designer’s magnificent finale statement, a couture wedding dress. Get ready to be wowed.
