BEAUTY & HAIRSPIRATION FROM BRIDAL FASHION WEEK
You know I love trend-spotting and this week I’ve been catching up on all the goings on at Bridal Fashion Week in New York. Spring 2015 isn’t as high maintenance as previous seasons, below are some of my favourite beauty and hairspiration spots for you 2015 brides.
1. Fuss free was the order of the day at Romona Keveza, well when it came to the hair and make up at least. Smooth side partings and glossy, straight locks allowed the incredible wedding dresses to do all the talking.
2. By contrast over at Della Giovanna the love of plaits and twisted up dos showed no signs of abating. That slightly slept in appearance of the hairstyles was teamed with soft Spring-like lilac eye shadows and frosty pink lipstick.
3. There was a pretty overload at Reem Acra which was the highlight of Fall 2015 Bridal Fashion Week for me. Models were doll like with minimal make up bar their cherry pink lips. The hairstyles and chosen vintage pearl, faux flower crowns and hair vines were reminiscent of Dolce and Gabbana’s Spring 2014 collection.
4. Centre partings were also the only option at Angel Sanchez making it the look for Fall 2015 brides. Here the styling was futuristic with well-oiled, slicked down hair tucked behind ears and bold brows.
