WE ARE so happy you are here
‘The Bijou Studio was founded 10 years ago to tie together my experience and passion for event planning, design and the simple love of an unforgettable party. What started as a fashion stylist’s wedding blog (when blogs were just journals!) quickly snowballed with increasing requests to style bridal brand campaigns, write for wedding magazines and advise couples planning their wedding. Keen to expand my knowledge of event organisation (the then day job) into weddings with the potential to live aboard, I studied and qualified as an International Wedding Planner in 2011. Since then The Bijou Studio has grown with the help of an amazingly talented team and we’ve had the pleasure of working with busy professionals and creatives from around the Globe. Crafting dream weddings and events throughout the United Kingdom, France and Italy alongside commercial styling projects our goal is always to create something from the heart that’s utterly authentic and truly unforgettable’ – Alexandra

Founder & Creative Director - Alexandra
With a background in art, film marketing, music PR and fashion styling, Alexandra’s reference points for inspiration are diverse. “What’s imperative to me is that your love story is not only reflected honestly in the framework and aesthetics of your celebrations but that the journey to the big day is also an equally magical time for you both. It is such a personal experience and I want you to feel like I’ve got your back every step of the way. Partnering with busy couples both within and outside the U.K, we want to fit the planning and design around your lifestyle. So, however you prefer to share inspiration or discuss your celebration, everything is tailored to suit you."
Aside from event planning, Alexandra also consults for brands and venues, teaches new and existing planners the art of event design and is the resident fashion stylist at international wedding magazine Rock N Roll Bride. This provides Bijou clients with access to the best new and emerging talent which plays a large role in ensuring that your event stands out from the crowd.Words that Inspire Me

Head of Event Production - Emma
Emma spent 5 years as the Senior Event Manager at Aynhoe Park, the UK’s most iconic exclusive venue, before joining The Bijou Studio team. Emma has seen it all having managed over 100 events including weddings, product launches, corporate retreats and more. No request is ever too big or too crazy thanks to Emma’s connections with the best and most unique suppliers in the UK, ranging from florists, musicians and Michelin-starred chefs through to exotic animal keepers and tap-dancing giant noses (yes, really!).
“I have worked on some truly amazing celebrations over the years, ranging from A-list celebrity birthday parties to intimate weddings, but my ethos remains the same throughout, and that is to exceed expectations. I like to ensure that the whole planning process is as enjoyable as possible and fits into your busy life, as opposed to takes it over! I also think it’s really important to consider how the event will feel as well as look; how you and your guests felt on the day will stay with you, and them, for a very long time”.
Emma’s approach to event planning is a mix of creativity but also military precision – not only will your event look amazing, but it will flow perfectly too.
Emma is also our resident venue expert, available to consult for new and existing event venues on everything from staffing to pricing packages.
